On the 23rd of November, 2016, the Graduate Consulting Club was proud to welcome Boston Consulting Group this November. In our kick-off Perspective Series Event we hosted a career seminar by Ulrik Schulze, Senior Partner & Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group in Zürich.
Ulrik Schulze leads The Boston Consulting Group’s biopharmaceuticals sector and the firm's Health Care practice in Switzerland. He is a member of the firm’s Marketing, Sales & Pricing, Operations, Corporate Development, People & Organization, and Strategy practices.
Since joining BCG in 1997, Ulrik has worked intensively with clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, and private-equity sectors in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has worked globally with management teams of leading global companies as well as ambitious emerging companies and private equity firms. His experience covers the full value chain from R&D and manufacturing to commercial, business development and capital market strategies.
Before joining BCG, Ulrik worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the chemical engineering and biology departments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In his talk, Ulrik shared his BCG story and his perspectives on the consulting side of the Life Sciences industries. The talk was followed by a Q&A session and a small Apéro.
