On the 11th of May, 2017, Together with McKinsey & Company, the Graduate Consulting Club co-organized an event focused on consulting in the context of Pharma and Life Sciences. This sector is one of the fastest-changing of those served by McKinsey & Co., and it offers many diverse opportunities for those interested in plotting the future direction of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
The event consisted of a series of interactive discussions on three main topics: Pharma & Medical Products; Global Public Health; and Analytics and Big Data and what it means for Life Sciences.

On the 9th of February, 2017, students had a chance to meet and discuss with consultants from the PwC Pharma and Life Sciences consulting practice. On the 23rd of November, 2016, the Graduate Consulting Club was proud to welcome Boston Consulting Group this November. In our kick-off Perspective Series Event we hosted a career seminar by Ulrik Schulze, Senior Partner & Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group in Zürich.. Ulrik Schulze leads the biopharmaceuticals sector and the firm's Health Care practice. Having worked at the Boston Consulting Group for nearly two decades and in different branches of the company, Ulrik shared his story and gave us a perspective on the consulting side of the Life Science industry.
On the 31st of October, 2016, Graduate Consulting Club and Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research Student Representatives organized a Workshop with A.T. Kearney. In the Management Consulting Behavioral Interview Preparation Workshop, students had a chance to learn about personal fit interview experience and train their interview skills. Sinisa Matetic, Management Consultant with A.T. Kearney led the workshop.
