Who Run the world? — Mission
Highly qualified women are still underrepresented in many industries, including consulting. Our mission is to contribute to the process of balancing out the gender inequality in top management positions by actively encouraging young women to enter the competitive field of consulting. We believe that, in order to bridge that gap, the best course of action is to connect highly talented female students to senior consultants who can guide them in their career path. This is the goal we want to achieve through the establishment of our unique mentoring program: “Who Run the World?”. Because ambitious women today will run the world tomorrow.
Concept – Get informed, get inspired
The organizing team will select talented female students to be matched with mentors from a large pool of active or alumni members of world-class consultancies with diverse backgrounds. The Who Run the World? program will be kicked off by an opening event in February 2018 during an Opening Night Dinner Event. During this dinner, mentors and mentees will have the chance to get to know each other. This is a chance for ambitious female students to meet other successful women in the consulting industry. It will be an opportunity to get informed and inspired. Student will have the opportunity to discussion on which skills need to be developed and how, have CV checks, arrange a meeting with people of different professional backgrounds through their mentor's network, and experience a work-shadowing day.
The mentoring program would run for a nine-month period and end with a closing event during which mentors and mentees.
