Our Destination

The Graduate Consulting Club is a student-led organization of ETH Zürich and University of Basel that aims to enable students to successfully transition from graduate schools to professional career, with a special emphasis on management consulting. We do so via our 4 pillars:

With these pillars, we provide opportunities for our members to explore management consulting in Switzerland and abroad, to network with people from the industry and most importantly, to prepare for case interviews. To learn more about our pillars simply click on the pictures.

There are no fees associated with membership of the Graduate Consulting Club. You can access our massive library of Case database and literature, together with our company events, by becoming one.

Active memberships are primarily offered to graduate students of the University of Basel and ETH Zürich (master students and PhD candidates). For more information and registration, please visit our Membership section.

Success starts with us.

As a founding member and former secretary, I am proud to see Graduate Consulting Club flourishing! In my experience, GCC offers a unique cross-disciplinary platform with a wide range of events suitable for students who want to get in touch with consulting and get hands-on practice for interviews. GCC is a great way to get oneself exposed to the corporate world and to learn more about consulting. If you are wondering about your next career step, try out a GCC event, have fun, and meet other people in the same shoes!” - Julia Reinert PhD, Patent Attorney Trainee at Wuesthoff & Wuesthoff

“The GCC provided me with the perfect bridge to transition from engineering to consulting. You can practice cases with motivated fellow students coming from diverse STEM fields, and build upon the valuable resources the club provides under the guidance of experienced workshop leads. Take your chance, have fun, and jump into the challenging field of consulting!” - Krisztina Nagy, Business Analyst at Deloitte

"We assigned GCC the challenging task of coming up with our next digital product. GCC meticulously planned and executed all the different phases of the project including: (1) a detailed project plan, (2) market research, (3) development of prototype ideas, (4) refinement of the prototype ideas with us and (5) presentation of the finalised strategy and product design. The entire project evolved exactly as planned and GCC proved to be a dependable partner." - Telejob, ETH PhD-student organisation for digital recruitment

"The GCC is the perfect place for ETH students to learn more about the consulting industry. Members share with each other their experience on how to apply and to prepare for the interviews. The very friendly and collaborative culture of the GCC makes it a great environment to progress and be successful in the recruiting process. I strongly recommend to anyone interested in consulting to join the GCC!" - Vincent Giorgis, incoming Associate at the Boston Consulting Group

"The weekly meetings gave me the chance to practice for the job interviews with motivated partners and a large catalogue of preparation material, otherwise inaccessible. All of this occurred in a friendly and open-minded environment, where newcomers were always welcome. I am strongly satisfied with my experience at the GCC. Thanks to their network, to the weekly practice with a group of motivated people and good case studies, it gave me a strong aid to start my career in the consulting world."  - Tommaso Sacco, Business Analyst at Arthur D. Little

"Having a stream-lined application process, case resources and workshops to practice for my interviews made all the difference - I definitely wouldn't have gotten the job if it hadn't been for the GCC's support."Lydia Braunack-Mayer, Analyst at IQVIA
