Who can join?

Any student from a Swiss university can join the event free of charge. No prior knowledge is necessary.

To sign up, you need to have requested membership from the Graduate Consulting Club. You can do so on our membership page. As soon as you created the account, you can then sign up for the competition by clicking the 'Register' button on the right side of the page.

How does the application process work?

  1. You apply through this website.
  2. You receive a registration confirmation email right after.
  3. You receive an acceptance email to the event including your team mates and the exact agenda of the event.

How are participants selected?

Participants are admitted on a rolling basis. No prior knowledge in the topic is necessary. But if you've never solved a case before, we do recommend you sign up for one of our case workshops before the competition.

Can I join as a team?

When registering, you can indicate up to three team partners. A team will be composed of 4 participants. You will be paired with other individuals to make up a complete team for the competition.

Can I join without a team?

Yes, sign up is possible alone or as a team of two. Individuals are thrown together with teams of two or other individuals for the competition, making sure that the full teams are as interdisciplinary as possible and from different universities.

How much will it cost me to participate?

The event itself is free of charge. In case you don't live in Zürich, you should expect some costs for travelling to Zürich on Sunday.

We strongly recommend you apply as soon as possible so that you receive your confirmation early and have time to arrange your travel.

What is the dresscode?

There is no mandatory dress code for the event. Smart casual is recommended.
